Fantastic stove - powerful enough to delay the next ice age.

Surprised to learn that I'm the first to review this, but the apparent lack of other buyers doesn't mean this is a substandard item. Quite the contrary, it's robust, heavyweight and plenty powerful enough for our camping needs. I may need a more powerful car to lug it around though ....

Excellent value and quality.

This is a really heavy duty double gas ring. It is very sturdy so I had no fear of it crumpling up under heavy pans of food. I don't know if I would want to cart it around on a camping trip due to it's weight, but if you are setting up a camp kitchen in one spot or using it at home it is fantastic. I have it set up in an outhouse so it can be safely left and used as needed. The main reason I bought it was to cook Christmas hams as my very large (catering size) pans would not work on my new induction hob, being the wrong metal. Cooking them outside the kitchen also meant that I didn't get a bacon sauna for the day too!The double boiling rings were well packaged and arrived safely. They needed some putting together and the instruction sheet was not particularly clear or helpful. Basically you need to loosely attach the burners and then jiggle them until the gas pipe lugs line up before trying to tighten any of the screws. Once screwed together tightly it is very sturdy.Hope this helps.
