I bought this as an alternative to a bivvy bag. It's simple and quick to put up. The mesh inner protects you from insects.Perfect for wild camping and somewhere to just sleep for one person only.Not suitable for spending much time in other than sleeping (just like a bivvy but better - more private and warmer).Cons: Stuck on a camp site in wet weather for any length of time trying to live in this would be a nightmare! No use for festivals either where somewhere to chill and shade from the sun is needed.Positives: Because it is low to the ground the wind doesn't catch it and the front door is a great mini awning if a spare rope is used to tie it open. Packs tiny to the size of a micro sleeping bag.One tip is to place your foam sleeping mat under the tent to protect it from stony ground and make less clutter inside.At £20 inc postage it's a steal.

Bought this tent to go cycle touring, and it fits the bill perfectly. Although I'm only 5' tall, I got my son to try it (he's normal size for a 24 year old man!) and he fitted comfortably. I did learn on the first night though that, due to the height, it's recommended that you change into your PJ's outside the tent !! It can be done inside, if you can move for laughing?!On a serious note, the pack size is tiny, lightweight, and stood up to some bad weather on the first outing. No problem with condensation, even with all zips closed all night. Quick and very easy to erect single-handed. Some space between the inner and outer for shoes etc, but panniers would need to stay on the bike under a cover. I liked the mesh panels on the inner tent, which gives the illusion of it being more spacious.All-in-all, just what I wanted at a fantastic price.

As a seasoned backpacker used to camping out in the wilds I have an expensive lightweight tent that's beginning to age. When I saw this I thought it was worth a try. Given the price I took the precaution of spraying it with waterproofing spray concentrating on the seams. I have used it twice and in Slovenia last summer I am relieved to say that it withstood some pretty persistent rain. There is just about room to sit up in it and if you're over six foot tall it will be a squeeze stretching out in it. However, if you are a backpacker or long-distance walker and want an economical, lightweight tent this is definitely for you. (Weight 1.4kg approx) It's got a small porch which I manage to squeeze my gear into overnight. I thoroughly recommend it.
